There’s a reason why society has traded the daily paper for social media when it comes to getting our news. “Shorter attention spans” aren’t to blame. The human brain is just a little impatient (and always has been). But when you’re writing about challenging topics (like in healthcare content), how can you balance the needs of writing concisely and comprehensively? By following these best practices. https://lnkd.in/gRhQy_8x

The new year is a time for fresh starts, and what better way to kick off 2025 than with a solid content plan? You could build your editorial calendar from scratch … or you could learn from others and adapt an existing template to save time (and heartache). Think smarter, not harder, right? Here’s a place to start. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gUcaspXG

Here are 7 effective tips to enhance your vaccine marketing strategy and better engage your audience. 1. Shift your perspective Understand your audience's point of view, especially if they oppose vaccines. Their decision may stem from misinformation or concern, not malice. Adopting this mindset helps improve communication. 2. Answer vaccine-related questions Combat fear and uncertainty by addressing common questions about vaccines. This includes concerns about safety, effectiveness, and necessity –– clarifying doubts. 3. Debunk myths about vaccination Challenge misinformation by addressing and correcting common myths about vaccines. This builds trust and educates the audience. 4. Make information easy to understand Present vaccine information clearly by avoiding jargon, using concise language, and providing context to statistics. Use bulleted lists, bolding, and headings to highlight important info. 5. Focus vaccine campaign messaging on the benefits Highlight the personal benefits of vaccination, such as preventing serious illness, rather than just focusing on the vaccine itself. Tailor messages to what resonates with your audience. 6. Don’t underestimate the power of influencers People listen to other people, not brands. Pull real people into your vaccination campaign — especially ones who carry influence. 7. Prioritize at-risk populations Target groups at higher risk of severe illness, like seniors, children, and those with existing medical conditions. Tailor your campaigns to address their specific needs and concerns.
