Project GiveBack Community Service Organization has become a cornerstone community service event in Northern Virginia. Members of Divine Nine sororities and fraternities, along with other community volunteers, generously donate funding and dedicate their time to packing and delivering food boxes to families in need. #GiveBackSaturday
Recap of my Community Service Saturday (Committee member for Northern Virginia Project GiveBack): This year marked the 30th anniversary of Project GiveBack and the 14th year of serving families in Northern Virginia. The day started early—I was up at 4:30 a.m. to receive the boxes by 5:30 a.m. From unpacking and assembly to loading and distributing food boxes, the dedication of our amazing volunteers made it all possible. Together, we delivered food to 700 families in need. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed, volunteered, and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event a success. The “Second Homecoming” was truly special this year, and we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for being part of this journey. See you next year! Music: Pancakes Musician: Jeff Kaale
