Join advocacyRX: Help Us Provide Essential Medications to Those in Need At advocacyRX we are on a mission to ensure that no one has to choose between their health and their daily necessities. Many individuals are forced to make critical decisions every day, deciding whether to spend their limited resources on medications or essential living items for themselves and their families. This heartbreaking reality is something we can change, together. Our focus is on three key therapeutic areas where medication non-adherence due to cost is alarmingly high: diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension. Here are the staggering statistics: - Diabetes: Approximately 25% of individuals do not adhere to their prescribed medication regimen due to cost concerns. - High Cholesterol: Around 20% of patients skip their cholesterol medications because they simply cannot afford them. - Hypertension:Nearly 30% of people fail to take their blood pressure medications as prescribed, citing financial barriers. These numbers aren't just statistics—they represent real people facing impossible choices. The social impact of medication non-adherence is profound, leading to increased health complications, reduced quality of life, and financial strain on families. Moreover, the healthcare system bears a significant burden, with higher rates of emergency room visits, hospitalizations, and long-term health complications. Your support can make a difference. By donating or volunteering with advocacyRX, you can help us provide essential medications to those in need, alleviating their financial stress and improving their health outcomes. You Can Help: 1. Donate: Your contributions go directly towards purchasing life-saving medications for those who cannot afford them. 2. Volunteer: Join our team in outreach programs, fundraising events, and community education initiatives. Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to the medications they need to live healthy, productive lives. Visit [advocacyRX.org](#) to learn more and get involved. Your generosity and time can transform lives—let’s make a difference together. #advocacyRX #HealthcareForAll #MedicationAccess #Diabetes #HighCholesterol #Hypertension #Volunteer #Donate Thank you for your support, The advocacyRX Team https://lnkd.in/gbCajAs3

Thank you Angela Burgess for your support!
I'm proud to share the inspiring work of my friend, David Franklin, who recently launched his nonprofit, advocacyRX. David's innovative and entrepreneurial mind has led him to tackle issues like access to affordable medication in a way that truly makes a difference. As someone who has worked in underserved communities for nearly two decades, I've often thought about how to help those in need. David took action and founded advocacyRX to help level the playing field. If you're looking for a way to make a difference and connect with a community of folks who believe that everyone should have access to affordable prescription healthcare, I encourage you to check out advocacyRX. Thank you to Dr.Sas Sukkasem for bringing such amazing people together, including Gina R. Smith, Anju Redheendran RN, BSN, MBA, CLC, and Derrick Calvert. Together, we can make a real impact. We are requesting technical support to build out our platform within the Salesforce and Pledge1% eco-systems. We are a new 501c3 and have received our grant from Salesforce using their NPSP, and would like to include other payment processing apps like Click-n-Pledge (or others) and an easy-start integrated marketing platform. We currently have the grant version of Vertical Response in place. Additionally, we have a WP website that requires some love. Assistance in the build-out from Project Management to Execution over the next 6-8 weeks to continue what we already have in place. We would love to hear from you and have a team of collaborator put their innovation and creative thumbprint on this initiative as we move close out go-live.
