Situated just 8 miles from Washington, D.C., Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) in Alexandria, VA serves more than 15,700 students who hail from more than 119 countries and speak 124 languages. ACPS has 18 schools, including two middle schools, two K-8 schools, a pre-K school, and the internationally recognized Alexandria City High School. ACPS offers a variety of attractive benefits for our staff, including Tuition Assistance, New Teacher Mentorships, salary incentives for Specialized Instruction positions and National Board Certification, and starting teacher salaries above the Virginia average.
