  • Big things are coming in 2025! AccessCNY was created to meet the unmet needs of our community and 2025 will be filled with new programs to support those with disabilities or a mental health diagnosis. In January AccessCNY will complete $500,000 in renovations to create a new Intensive Children’s Respite home for kids with a disability. This program will initially support kids with intense behavioral needs aged 5-17 who are being discharged from Upstate Children’s Hospital. The home will be a place for the child and family to continue to learn how to best manage behaviors outside the four walls of a hospital. There is a lot more to come from AccessCNY in the new year, including: social work counseling, new mental health housing options for Cayuga and Cortland Counties, dedicated housing for young adults with a mental health diagnosis and new transitional residential options for those with both a developmental disability and mental health diagnosis. Stay tuned to learn more as AccessCNY continues to build a community where all people belong.

  • Kaitlyn and Erica are continuing to excel in their studies! In one of their most recent lessons, they learned how to demonstrate creativity in the kitchen with holiday-themed desserts. They have been practicing all throughout the holidays and were thrilled to have the chance to apply their new skills to their training!
