Looking for a new career opportunity in 2025? AAA Life is hiring experienced Life Underwriters! This position will aid in analyze, evaluate, and classifying risk of some of the most complex life insurance applications, providing support for contract changed and reinstatement life underwriting, and review medical history, physical condition, and occupational hazards. They will handle escalations, highly complex case underwriting and complaint escalation and resolution. Qualified candidates will have experience in fully underwritten life products, working with agents, an aptitude for exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment where they can demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow-through on new projects. Job requirements include a college degree in finance, business, or economics; or equivalent work experience with a minimum 7 years’ experience in Individual Life Insurance Underwriting. Experience in fully underwritten products, proficiency in interpreting Medical Information Bureau codes and preparing data and reports is required. AAA Life is searching for licensed life insurance agents for our Simplified Issues Sales Unit team! This position will field inbound calls from prospective customers and create positive member sales experiences in a high-volume, fast-paced call center environment. SISU sales agents will follow internal processing procedures and build successful customer relationships. Qualified candidates will have a high school degree, with some college-level coursework preferred; a current license to sell life insurance and the ability to maintain licenses in all applicable states; and a basic understanding of life insurance company operations, policies, and products. SISU sales agents must be able to work independently and in a team environment, with extended or irregular hours including weekends.
