Recently, our Strategic Operations Director, Niklas Sannebro, took the stage at the 3EI - European Ecosystem of Entrepreneurship and Innovation event organized by SPRIM to discuss a future where olive oil isn’t just a product, but a journey rooted in transparency and sustainability. In his talk, "From Olive Grove to Table: How Blockchain Technology Supports Deoleo’s Sustainable Extra Virgin Olive Oil," Niklas shared insights into how blockchain technology is transforming consumer trust and authenticity in each bottle of our olive oils. Through our partnership with IBM Food Trust, Deoleo uses blockchain technology to empower consumers by enabling them to: •Scan a unique QR code on each bottle to trace the journey from grove to bottle. •Access details on variety, origin, and quality certifications, creating an unparalleled level of transparency.
