What I learnt from my 15years It exp, leading around 100 member team, below are few tips I would share: If the feedback is helping you get better, then regardless of how harsh it gets, take it & apply. For few things in life we need to get practical, and not emotional. Keep your ego low, so you can clearly decide what is right and what is wrong. WIsh you well. Do apply, and grow. Thanks.

I wonder if there are two ways to go into any project/work to make it a positive learning experience. Number 1 is to remember that if you continue to do what you always done, you will continue to get what you've always gotten. Number 2 is to remember that other people's attitude and demeanor are theirs, you can accept any criticism or correction, but you never have to accept poor behavior.

Harsh feedback is not easy to take and we often react very emotional. Taking a few moments to get out of this emotional state and then consciously (self-) reflect on the feedback (harsh and gentle) helps acceptance. Trying to understand what the other party meant and ask for clarifications if required. Then start with implementation by experimenting, reviewing, adjusting, seeking feedback, fine tuning and performing successfully. Despite it might be hard to accept, even harsh feedback is a growth opportunity.

Its hard to accept , but you can give them a big smile and try to take it as a positive thing and look back to what you have done maybe we are stressed sometimes in work so its ok to just give it a moment to think about what you have done and if everything is ok, be thankful and keep doing what you are there for.

Receiving harsh criticism can be tough, but it’s an opportunity for growth. I focused on listening without defensiveness, understanding the feedback, and identifying areas for improvement. By implementing changes and learning from the experience, I turned it into a positive lesson that strengthened my skills and resilience.

Ask for examples to better grasp the issue. Reflect and Analyse Assess the feedback objectively. Consider its validity and how it applies to your work. Plan for Improvement Identify actionable steps to address the criticism. Set goals for improvement. Seek Support Don’t hesitate to ask for advice or mentorship from colleagues or supervisors. Implement Changes Put your improvement plan into action. Monitor your progress and stay committed to growth. Follow Up Check in with the person who provided the feedback. Show that you're taking it seriously and making efforts to improve.
