There is a lot beyond the words - eye contact, body language and group dynamics all play an important role. For successful integration, it is critical to create an open and welcoming environment. Make sure that the existing team understands the expectations, clarity of role and is fully aligned to deliver on those. Also, highlight the culture and organizational nuances to those joining midstream. They will be grateful and find it easier to integrate. Last but not the least, listen and respect questions and inputs. If not anything else, it will provide a new perspective.
