Start with the sets of criteria for the event that we need, such as type of event, venue (location, size of room, capacity & facilities offered), budget and of course, sustainability in terms of the venue or can be how we design the event. We can't be too choosy as the budget will be the focal point, however, by practising sustainability in an event, we can somehow manage the cost effectively, e.g. ban of plastic bottle by providing glass water bottle (as goodie) & allocate water machines - which is super helpful! But if you have the budget, by all means, choosing the venue with sustainability, green practice whatsoever, please do so!
