Get to know your clients, learn their styles, what they do but at the same time keep it simple. While creating the product, through each phase of the design send your clients your progress throughout the project, from beginning to end. They will definitely tell you if you’re going in the right direction or if there needs to be changes. Find out the purpose behind what your client is asking you to make, and be consistent to what they are asking you to do. Be creative but not to the point of you putting your own two cents in. (For example if a client asked you to design a graphic highlighting planet Earth, be creative in how to create and design planet Earth, but don’t go taking it upon yourself to start adding other planets, aliens etc).

- Personal Communication (video/voice call) is a must because it wil help you understand the client's requirements, understand their thoughts, preferences, aesthetics, and all the other tiny details. - Giving adequate time to revisions will help in getting a clearer outcome. While taking projects, make sure that you have time to brainstorm before and during the design process. (Setting personal milestones is a good idea) - Patience is extremely crucial in this process because at times, what you create and what the client needs may vary. In those situations, it's a good idea to take feedback, sit back and process it for a while and then try to put it on paper. More often than not, you come up with something super cool and creative.
