looking for references from user manuals, YouTube, journals and other social media, then I do trial and error one by one and if the problem is related to software and IT then I will ask the IT Team for help

Softwares can be tricky and just the user manual will not give the insights in a problem to get it resolved, it's important to connect with the community of users for that particular software along with the customer support if a reliable solution is not available. A community can have varying range of experiences for the same problem and similar scale of solutions. YouTube and quora are good platforms as such to connect with like minded people for such issues.

Refer to Youtube tutorials, manuals, and official documentation to understand basic functionality and common workflows. Do trial-and-error experiments on test models, documenting errors and testing solutions incrementally. Seek support from forums, online communities, or colleagues experienced in the software for targeted advice.

In my experience the Effective Troubleshooting in this case comes from Colleague support. In order to aim to the “problem” and fix it correctly in t-minus time based on their experience and the best way to follow up with the operational standards of the corporate’s specifications. In case you don’t have an experienced colleague, of course the software’s update is crucial, but you need to watch video tutorials and looking for references from manuals. So stay updated.

1) Mechanical engineering softwares need a team of functional domain experts who can improve the software implementation seeing through the lens of a mechanical engineer. 2) Capturing accurate data is one of the most important tasks, else the software will show wrong results. 3) Training has to be provided into the features and capabilities of the software.

Go to the experts, Always go with the experts, trial and error would never be an answer, either no solution or solution will take longer time than it supposed to be

When struggling with new mechanical engineering software, a systematic troubleshooting approach can help you resolve issues effectively. 1. Understand the Basics Review Tutorials and Documentation: Start by reading the user manual, tutorials, or help guides that accompany the software. Understand Key Features: Familiarize yourself with the primary tools and functions of the software. 2. Check for Updates Ensure Software is Updated: Install the latest version to avoid bugs or missing features that might have been fixed in updates. 3. Verify System Requirements Hardware and Software Compatibility: Confirm your computer meets the software's system requirements (RAM, graphics card, OS version). 4. Experiment with Basic Features

What I can do is, to get an understanding about the fault, I need to figure out the nature of the fault. Thereafter, software must have built-in support such as (help) for having assistance. I can go through the user guide, seek customer support as well as YouTube is the best platform to guide the troubleshooting.. The important thing is to dive deeper yourself to come to know the fault but studying/reading

1.Experiment Sometimes the best way to learn is by trial and error. Testing different features often uncovers shortcuts or fixes I didn’t expect. 2.Check the error messages They’re not just annoying pop-ups. Error codes can often be Googled for quick, targeted solutions. 3.Break it into smaller problems Instead of solving the entire issue at once, I isolate smaller tasks and tackle them step by step. This keeps things manageable and helps identify what’s really going wrong. 4.Revisit your process I often ask, “Am I using this tool as intended?” A quick look at the software’s primary purpose can highlight if I’m approaching it the wrong way. For me, trial and error combined with breaking things down has been a game-changer.

I mainly look for tutorials and consult forums. I find forums very educational as they showcase real problems and how people resolved them.
