Be the social architecture of your organizational culture, where ideas are encouraged to be shared, discussed vigorously and resolved towards creation of value - Do not be an innovation champion oneself every time. 2. Cultivate the culture of collaboration where each individual's creativity is woven into something that creates value for the organization - recognize efforts at individual level and also at the team level. 3. Develop a system striking a proper balance between autonomy and responsibility, flexibility and discipline, fellowship and accountability. 4. Clarify the aspects of project management which cannot be compromised and the aspects where we have scope of doing things differently. Incentivize standing out in both.

Shift from silos to a collaborative approach. No adding extra time buffers to individual tasks to cover uncertainties, pool all these buffers into a shared buffer at the end of the project. When people work in silos with their own buffers, delays accumulate, like taking connecting flights and one of them is late no matter how fast/on time are the rest. By pooling buffers, the team shares responsibility for managing time. Progress is measured by how much of the shared buffer is used, encouraging teamwork and open communication. Also use kanban and "andon cord" to halt operations when critical errors occur- to study the cause and prevent it in the future, and to hold the errors creeping into the project. This is called Critical Chain
