Negotiating influencer partnerships requires aligning brand goals with authenticity. Samay Raina’s collaborations with Wok Tok, Bold Care, and Spinny highlight how relatability can drive impactful campaigns. 1. Authenticity is key: His humor and unique style ensured campaigns felt genuine, increasing audience trust. 2. Strategic compensation: A mix of fixed fees and performance-based incentives likely ensured mutual benefit while driving results. 3. Creative freedom: Allowing Samay to align content with his voice made the messaging more engaging and effective. These partnerships demonstrate how authentic storytelling and strategic negotiation lead to successful collaborations.

1) Determine what are some of the value in-kind perks/products/partnerships that you can offer (For macro/micro influencers, they may appreciate some benefits e.g products for giveaways or customised discount codes they could give to their followers that would in turn help them increase engagement & followers on their page.) 2) Have a rough range in mind based on in-house budget distribution across the list of influencers you plan to engage and benchmark it against other influencers in the similar tier that you know from research or previous engagements 3) Let the influencer indicate the preferred rate and we see if part of it can be traded with the value in kind perks to optimise the actual monetary offer
