In media sales, racing against tight advertising deadlines often means finding the sweet spot between creative quality and speed. To achieve this balance, consider these strategies:

It always seems that it comes down to timing and quality. In my experience if it is a multi phased campaign, one might need to prioritize the e.g. big reveal (later on in creative schedule) with the most time and effort on quality control. If one does not have a specific timing to hit and be flexible, than time is more flexible. Harder to do in a medium such as outdoor formats where space is booked well in advance. Obviously one never actively wishes to reduce quality, but building extra time into the plan can often help with this too.

Research to see what level of creativity will serve the target and audience. Choose the right team with experience to limit errors. Brief carefully based on the requirements of the client or board of directors with a descriptive demo. This way the best product quality will still be maintained. The longer the preparation time, the better the quality of the product.
