If faced with a technical question I cannot answer during a presentation, I would remain calm and transparent. I would acknowledge that I don't have the specific information at that moment and express my commitment to providing an accurate response. I might offer to follow up after the presentation with a detailed answer, either via email or in a subsequent meeting. This approach shows honesty, a willingness to collaborate, and professionalism, ensuring that the audience feels valued and that their query will be addressed appropriately.

If the technical issue is not the concern of the part of my presentation, I need to assure the audience that it's not the concern of the part being presented. But, if it's a concern of my presentation, and I can't recall some figures or the technical points, I must admit that I've to check, and the answer can be made after a break in the middle of the presentation.

It depends. We may not answer a technical question for three reasons: 1. The response involves confidential company information, 2. We don’t know the answer, 3. The question is unrelated to the topic or general interest. Here’s how we address these cases: 1. If the information is confidential, we explain why we can’t share it and provide a general response without technical details. 2. If we don’t know the answer, we are honest and take it as a follow-up, offering to respond via email or in a meeting by a set date. 3. If the question is off-topic, we propose scheduling a separate meeting with prospects or clients, ensuring the discussion is productive in terms of time and ROI.

This AI answer is exactly what I would do, and advise. No one can know everything, acknowledging the speaker, admitting you don't know, and getting back to the person with the answer.... is the ethical, humble, and honest way to tale this on in my opinion.

Seeing that we are human and we are always learning there is always something more to learn. If I was presenting and a technical question came up that I couldn’t answer I would say, “You know I hadn’t thought about that question. That’s a great question I will have to look into that and get back to you after the break. Thank you for asking that question it will help us all grow our knowledge.” It’s nothing wrong with not knowing all of the answers. That is why we have resources so we can continue to increase our knowledge base.

In my experience, tackling a difficult question in a presentation is a time-halting moment for many presenters. Too much to process in the tiny brain before framing and spitting out the answer! One thing to remember in this situation is to know how to maneuver through the answer without losing your credibility as a presenter. You can either: - say something like," I am not a technical expert, but I would like to request XXX to provide some insights on this". Have a senior tackle the question for you in that moment. - Provide a brief insight and request additional time after the presentation, in the interest of time. - Present in a way that you are prepared for any related questions to your topic, avoid technical details, if possible.

Buscar entender corretamente a pergunta, demonstra o meu interesse, e comprometo-me a lhe trazer a resposta. Esse tipo de abordagem ajuda a reter toda atenção do público, e assim, consigo garantir o bom andamento da apresentação.
