Reducir el desperdicio de alimentos en la cadena de suministro ayuda a combatir el hambre y tiene un impacto positivo en la economía. Usar Internet y análisis de datos para monitorear y optimizar la cadena de suministro. Fomentar la colaboración entre productores y distribuidores para compartir información y recursos. Implementar programas para concienciar a todos los actores de la cadena de suministro sobre reducir el desperdicio de alimentos. Desarrollar empaques inteligentes que puedan extender la vida útil de los productos. Abogar por políticas y regulaciones que incentiven la reducción del desperdicio de alimentos. Promover modelos de economía circular donde los residuos de alimentos se reutilicen o reciclen en lugar de ser desechados.

Reducing food waste in the supply chain is not a difficult thing to achieve. It's all about identifying and resolving the inefficiencies in the supply chain and eliminating or circumventing them. In a developing country like Nigeria where I live, most of these inefficiencies are caused by infrastructural deficits in things like transportation (which prevents harvested produce from being transported promptly to processing sites) and electricity shortage (which disrupts industrial processing and preservation of produce). Resolving the infrastructural deficits in situations like these will greatly reduce food waste. Also encouraging circular economy by recycling of food normally discarded as waste will help reduce wastage.

To start from source the farmers need to aggregate so that they can use technology at farm and maximise their yield Aggregated farmers can demand better price and alternative usage for graded products Processed for value addition Yoon can also lead to losses at farm level

Pour mettre en place des mesures qui vont réduire le gaspillage il faut commencer par évaluer le gaspillage ! Volume/valeur/kg carbone Dans un premier Il s'agit d'identifier, peser, mesurer systématiquement tout ce qui est jeté par zone/local . Quid Dans deuxième temps il faut attribuer les raisons, le pourquoi du gaspillage et cela par produit : Erreur de processus dans la fabrication/preparation , erreurs dans la gestion des dlc , erreur de prévision , erreur d'entreposage, retours clients ( si c un restaurant restes dans les assiettes ) etc... Actions Et dans un troisième temps, en faisant sans doute des priorités, il faut agir sur chacune des raisons qui contribuent à générer du gaspillages
