Clearly staying involved with likeminded professionals and importantly is being current on trends in the food & beverage and supply chain industry. Attending a variety of different annual professional workshops and or industry conferences is important to sharpen your skillset.

Eating out and reading up on trends is very important to staying current. Giving students hands on learning opportunities such as job shadow field trips, worked based learning and project based learning is where the rubber meets the road.
