First, it is important to know when enough is enough. If you are feeling overwhelmed, tell yourself that you will not take on any additional projects until you feel like you are at a good place. Second, as others have said on here, look at your deadlines and see which projects are top priority. It is great to block off a certain amount of time during the day for each project, but you have to follow your creative flow as well, so if you are feeling more inspired on one particular topic, go after it and get it done.

When working with deadlines it’s very simple. You have to work on two simple rules what is urgent & what is important. You go through the pile of work that’s given to you and you tackle what is in those two categories once you’ve put the piles into those two categories. Note everything else is still needing to be dealt with but not at the same pace. One then carries out a quick review of when the work was allocated & when the work reached your desk. If the work has taken a long time to get to you but it’s been in the pipeline for sometime the question is why is it now urgent & important & therefore the most important piece of work in the pile because other people have held it up. Always be strategic, calm, smart & think logically.

To have many writing tasks to manage can be tough. A good way is to order them by urgency. I also try to gather all the info, background research, useful sources, links all in one place. In that way, I can get an easier overlook and make an outline. I am not much for settibg time blocks because once I get into a writing task then I prefer to work as much as possible on it while having the flow. But time blocks can be good when you need to go back and forth and revision the different writing tasks.

One thing I love when working for a client is to beat deadlines, although it's not easy. However, if I am overwhelmed with writing project, I will do the following to successfully prioritize and tackle them all. 1. Pay attention to details 2. Pick out the deadlines. 3. Take my time to prioritize them base on urgency and importance. 4. Use organizational tools like calender, spreadsheets, or click up to to set time blocks. 5. Break them down into simpler task 6. Handle a task at a time.
