Just remember to take the time to look after you. If you get burned out or have a breakdown then no work will get done at all. Make sure that you are getting enough sleep, eating right, are in the right frame of mind and so on. Speak to your manager if things aren't going well. You can take some of your leave and have a short break to recharge. Ask for some of your tasks to be delegated.

1. Use the Eisenhower Matrix of determining Importance and Urgency 2. Make a “Do Not Do List”. Productive people are good at making “To Do Lists” but, it is hard to resign yourself to not doing everything. Once you’ve determined what won’t make the cut, put it on the list 3. When you put something on the “Do Not Do List” - add an explanation as to why. There is going to be pressure to move it back to the individual or team’s To Do list. Revisit the justification. Have any of the assumptions changed? Any of the requirements or dependencies? If not, it stays on the “Do Not Do List”

Each morning, I plan my day by selecting the top three tasks that must be completed, ensuring my energy goes to what truly matters. For repetitive or lower-priority tasks, I either delegate them or automate the process to save time. Taking short breaks throughout the day keeps me refreshed and productive.

Block unnecessary task and meetings that will not help you with the task. Use task management system or simply organise your task so you can track and see deadline projects. Delegate other task within the team that can handle and help. Set reasonable deadline for the project that will include testing, remediation and final result. Take a minute break to prevent burnout and boosts your focus. Prioritising, dedication and using right methods can alleviate pressure.

I personally follow the below method: 1. Make a list of tasks and put a deadline to them. Then divide them into following sections: A. Urgent- to be finished same day. B. Follow ups- mails, calls to be made for following up with teammates abd stakeholders. C. Make document- making reports, documentation, costing, etc. D. Meetings- daily team meetings, stakeholder meeting, technical meetings. Divide your day with all the urgent tasks and follow ups-in the morning and meetings and documentation towards the end of the day. This has effectively reduced my stress for working and helped me prioritize the tasks as everything is written down and accounted.
