Time management is key to managing chaos. When you are overwhelmed with the amount of incoming workloads and having to juggle project priorities. The best plan of action is to plan your time wisely. Allocate a certain amount of time each day for each project. Prioritize your time based on project needs and stay focused on that particular project during the assigned time. Ensure each project is addressed while being proactive with solutions. Don’t allow yourself to get distracted or start a task and stop and work on something else. Remain razor focused on time allotments. Don’t forget that a good manager knows how to delegate and ask for help from team members when needed.

Yo siempre digo que funciono por “cajitas”, pues en realidad trabajo en tres ambitos distintos, en lugares de trabajo diferentes y en horarios específicos. Abro y cierro cajitas para poder concentrarme en el tema que me ocupe en cada momento. Pero que pasa en aquellas ocasiones en que, por la propia inercia del trabajo, las cajitas se superponen. Ahir entra en juego la carpeta con todo el material que necesitaré con el guión correspondiente a las gestiones que debere llevar a cabo. Este sistema me permite navegar en el caos, lo que no quita que mi nivel de cortisol suba en demasia. Ahir entran mis otros “trucos”, por supuesto el deporte, tambien un rato al final del dia, de luces bajas y poco ruido, que me permitan “calmar” el cerebro.
