I think the best approach is to create a transition training program where we onboard new experts of the new technology and mix them with existing team which is leading legacy systems. So that it will create an environment of growth and collaboration. Where new team members will help the older team to feel familiar to the new system and new technology. I built a schedualed weekly two hours training routine , which enables me to train my team on any new technologies or any systems or even introducing them to new methodologies. I will plan the training to be devided withing the days of training. And then start building an audit system to make sure they are appying the new system .

Bring in an expert or 2 of the new technology. Have these guys train your older members on the new tech and get the new guys exposure to the old tech. Expand implementation of new tech within the organisation as well.
