I appreciate all the prior responses. I would add that for me this type of navigation begins with the leader. A leader must do the internal work first to recognize their values and biases landscape. Only then, can the navigation of any feedback session be truly open and as Carl Rogers teaches us - having and communicating Unconditional Positive Regard allows others to feel accepted and understood. Standing in this space and making that invitation is where respect lives.
