As an agile leader, I’m like a circus ringmaster, keeping the team juggling tasks without dropping the project goal—or their sanity. I hand out user stories like candy, yell “Focus!” like a motivational drill sergeant, and throw in occasional dance breaks during stand-ups. Deadlines are renamed *"Funlines"* to keep spirits high, and retros are confessionals where we roast bugs and bad ideas equally. I bribe with snacks, threaten with dad jokes, and motivate with the promise of "no meetings Friday." By the end, everyone’s so focused, they forget they’re working... until the next sprint planning!

FOCUS: 1. Clear Vision/True North: The team is clear on what they're building, for whom they're building, and why it matters to the customer and the business or any larger mission. 2. Good Leadership: Removes distractions and - anything hindering the team, from outside the team. 3. Refined Backlog: What's "ready to work on" is as important as the definition of "done". EMPOWERMENT: 1. A Culture of Team Autonomy: Empowered teams create their own charter rules. Working Agreements are awesome ways to set expectations. 2. Self-Accountability: Taking the time to inspect, reflect, adapt. Leave each retrospective knowing what will change, and volunteers/owners on the team who'll take point on changes that need to happen within team.

Empower them while keeping focus by involving them in defining, writing, and executing Team OKRs. When the team co-creates OKRs, they take ownership of the goals and feel accountable for achieving them. Ensure the OKRs are clear, focused on project outcomes, and leave room for the team to decide how to achieve them.

To empower members while staying focused on the project objectives, I take advantage of Scrum sessions to foster knowledge in agility, explaining the objective of each meeting, and the role of each actor, once a week I host a scrum coffee, where Everyone can contribute insights, lectures, course suggestions and collective purchase of certifications, in addition to providing opportunities to rotate among members to conduct events such as Review and Retrospective.
