For the Data Minning Project, we can usually divide things into the following : 1 - Understand the type of table, columns, relationship and volumetric analysis. If the names of these entities are not clear, get the business name mapping from stakeholders. 2 - Create a visualisation of data flow into the system. This will help you to create a flow of information in the business and divide data into configuration and transactions. 3 - Understand the transactions which are creating more business value from stakeholders and perform analysis using methodology like time-series, user-response, performance-metrics etc. based on transaction data type.
