To improve communication, I suggest running the ‘Stinky Fish’ workshop from the Hyper Island toolbox. It helps team members surface and address unspoken concerns (the ‘stinky fish’) in a safe, structured way, fostering openness and understanding.

The 1st action is to recognize and accept that there is a misunderstanding, Identify the root cause of the misunderstanding, Empathize with all the parties involved. Listen actively to all concerns from either parties even when it doesnt make sense. Remind each party the objective of the group. Remind them the repurcusion on the group. Invite all to a brief get together for venting and synergy. Re-introduce the group objective Create an avenue for open communication, where memebers will vent concerns in time. The team is once again working together towards the common goal. Hold regular meeting that will hold each member accountable and excited to be in the team.

Communicate with them separately and try to understand the cause behind the mis understanding. most of the times it is backbiting done by someone. 1. Try indulge them in some activity or special task 2. Let one person praise the work of the other 3. Ask for ideas on a subject. 4. Arrange a meeting and try walk out of room for few minutes. They will communicate this way and the misunderstanding world be gone. Communication is the Key.

I follow the following strategy: 1. Have one-on-one open communication with all the Stakeholders 2. Make notes of the issues and resolution plan. 3. Call for Team Meeting and explain your understanding of the problem and resolution plan. 4. Set the expectations to avoid repetition of the problems 5. Plan for regular Team lunch/dinner and Team outings over the weekend to foster relationship among Team members.

One thing I have found helpful is having open communication with the team on consistence basis via face to face meetings and individual 1:1s. secondly, having workshop/knowledge sharing session within the team over a topic and circulate within the team “LEARNING HOURS CAMPAIGN ” helps growing the Team and the relationship grows better Thirdly, I would recommend for team outing/Dinner/Lunch at-least once a month which helps the team to interact and strengthen the team in communication and the core values.
