Scepticism isn't really about you. Some people prefer to trust slowly. This is a buyer persona called as,"Skeptical Steve" Understand their resistance without judging their reasons Understand the skeptics frustrations, problems, objections and their fears Stay realistic and address the whole 'against' argument Show them the possible results, regrets of skepticism Promote an idea, a thought for them to get convinced Overcome the mindset that you are right and they are wrong Recognise the value in their questions, challenge Don't think that skepticism shows a lack of commitment Listening past someone's skepticism will improve their trust in you Help them discover how collaboration can make a difference and strengthen bonds

Collaboration is key. * Let your team come up with ideas and try to lead them to solutions by asking the right questions. * Ultimately, if you can transfer trust to your team, they will trust you too. * And never externally blame your team if something bad happens. Everyone works together to get the machines running and solve problems.

To prove your leadership, lead by example through hard work and accountability, while communicating transparently to build trust. Actively listen to your team's feedback, showing you value their input. Deliver quick wins to demonstrate effectiveness early on. Lastly, empower your team by delegating responsibilities and recognizing their strengths, fostering collaboration and ownership.

Lead by Example: Be the First to Act: Show your commitment by being the first to tackle challenging tasks or take on difficult projects. Maintain High Standards: Set and maintain high standards for yourself and your team. Example: If your team is facing a tight deadline, be the first to put in extra hours to ensure the project is completed on time

I add how important it is to admit your own mistakes! This builds approachability and employees are prepared to open up authentically and approach their team lead confidentially with their concerns. It also helps everyone in the team to stay true to themselves. The result is better team building, which on the other hand strengthens the relationship with the leader.
