However, if these trends show that your goals are endangered, think what has caused the shift, whether your goals are still valid, and whether your process is still suitable to achieve your goals. If this reveals the necessity for change, do that right there and then. That's what being agile is all about, anyways. #topstructure

These questions don't have succinct answers. Staying focused on opportunities for growth or improvement is THE goal, not following what's trending for the sake of it. Unless the trends demonstrate more effective methods, then a shift may not be needed. For example, interpretive tools in diagnostic imaging were a focus early on for AI in healthcare. As development hurdles of those tools was realized, there was a drift to large language models for non-interpretive tasks which seemed more accessible. The trend of using LLM's addresses a different problem and didn't invalidate the utility of (mainly NNs) with interpretive AI in diagnostic imaging.
