Before you even open the CAD software, it’s crucial for everyone on a team to deeply understand the problem you’re trying to solve (what the client needs, the constraints, and the end goal). Taking the time to align with your coworkers is just as important. Understanding their strengths, listening to their perspectives, and maintaining regular communication can prevent missteps and ensure everyone is moving in the same direction. Working together in person, in the same room, can also help keep everyone on the same page.

Let's review the individual proposals and extract the best from each one to take it back to CAD

CAD is a form of presenting an idea. Conflicts are inevitable. To overcome this you, as the designer, need to be ready by taking in the responsibility of understanding criticism whilst still being able to justify your opinion/ thought process. Cohesion is created by communication. By undermining someone’s/ group’s opinion will only disadvantage you as the designer.
