Engage with the local community - invite them on site, meet with them, be honest with them and tell them if there will be some noise/vibration activity above the norm. A local quarry firm who have re-opened a quarry put on social media when they will be blasting a week before, day before and on the day. If it is a double blast they say so. They just had an open day with tours around the quarry. If something goes wrong eg. huge vibrations across a wide area from a blast from one local quarry, get an apology out straight away and follow it up with an explanation of why it was different - geology in this case. People are interested. And anyway all the other quarries in the area will make it clear it was not them blasting!!

It is important to have a strong core ethos that prioritizes stakeholder rights, and transparency. It is important to remember that if a project and team is a net benefit, transparency and open dialoge is a valuable asset. This is what the McClintock Group leaned in strongly trying to get shareholder rights addressed. Ultimately it was a lack of transparency that allowed shareholders to force issues to be addressed and ultimately will be the key to having given an opportunity to advance the Blue Moon deposit.
