É fundamental estar aberto a escutar as preocupações e as sugestões do cliente de modo que juntos seja possível encontrar uma solução. Sendo assim, é importante apresentar diferentes soluções e estar disposto a investir tempo nesta relação.

A principal resistência do cliente a utilização de projetos ecologicamente corretos é o custo, pois existe uma "lenda" que se propagou ao longo dos anos no ramo empresarial de que projetos ecologicamente corretos são mais caros. Então, se você consegue demonstrar ao Cliente que isso não é verdade e que o custo de implantação poderá ser revertido em benefícios ao meio ambiente, e principalmente à imagem da empresa, onde a sociedade passará a respeitá-la e lhe dar preferência no mercado competitivo, você conseguirá convencer o Cliente a prática ecologicamente correta.
