Para evitar incidentes com arco elétrico em sistemas de alta tensão, é essencial adotar práticas como o uso de equipamentos de proteção individual (EPIs) adequados, manter distâncias de segurança, realizar manutenção preventiva regularmente, garantir o correto aterramento dos sistemas e utilizar dispositivos de proteção, como disjuntores e relés de sobrecorrente. Além disso, deve-se seguir rigorosamente as normas de segurança elétrica.

No sistema de distribuição de energia, usamos o DAC ( Dispositivo de Abertura com Carga ). E tem uma sequência correta de abertura para minimizar o risco de descontrole do arco momento da abertura. A lógica de sequência de abertura, segue o principio de que a primeira chave aberta vai interromper uma parte da carga do circuito trifásico, na abertura da segunda chave é que ocorre o desligamento da carga à jusante, tendo o menor potencial de carga na ultima chave a ser aberta. Observando que em área urbana, predominantemente, não tem transformar MRT – Monofilar com Retorno por Terra ( Luz para todos ) que é alimentado por uma das fases da rede primária.
