You should never expand at the risk of quality. If you have a quality product and increasing customer demand then you have to address two issues can you upscale production and retain quality or is growth really necessary. If you are known for quality (and few are) then stick to that. More customers are not an asset as such. Satisfy demand and raise prices to maintain your place in the market. If you can sensibly grow profit while satisfying your customers then you are ahead of those that simply grow for the sake of it.

From my experience, it is trained staff, testing that training with quality audits and ensuring each team member that their work makes a contribution and matters in the end result. Staff also appreciates a leader that works in the trenches with them and not barking orders from behind a desk.

It’s always good to keep clear lines of communication open with components suppliers and in instances where you have outsourced manufacturers the same with them. Have regular discussions set clear SLA’s on delivery and product quality. Being firm but fair will and should keep a consistent level of quality with suppliers. Also ensure couriers are held to account for product damage where applicable. Internally, a process that is simple enough to easily onboard new team members but ensures there are sufficient steps to have an adequate level of quality control. Lastly when doing quality checks ensure you are checking enough to catch any issues but not too many that the QC process is bringing the business to a halt

Yeah well I guess 30 years of this stuff I do it to a guy understanding customers and text that 15 years to understand who you want to do business with and who you don't want to do business with and when I decide when I'm talking to you that you're a shyster or whatever you are it's up to me I tell you you know what you don't deserve my service because that cost way more than you can afford and my services are way more efficient than those other guys whatever you want to do it I don't kiss no one's ass. And I take care of my seniors they're my favorite always have the less fortunate if I can always give and give back I'm okay but it says a handful

Every function of a business has a priority level. For example, the first, second, and third priorities can be "Quality Control," "Speed of Delivery," and "Accessibility," in that order. So if production volume increases rampantly, then your 2nd and 3rd tier priorities may suffer to maintain your 1st priority. With rampant growth, if quality control is prioritized it will be maintained at the expense of slower delivery times and out-of-stock products. However, as the leader, you should reinvest in either new technology, more efficient processes, or more employee training to facilitate this new, increased level of demand. And give yourself a deadline, before more business is missed.
