When I work with clients under intense pressure, I focus on listening first. I start by assessing their level of distress or anxiety, prioritizing those who may need immediate support. I believe that sometimes people don’t need a solution right away; they just need someone to listen. We often have our own answers deep down, but the weight of problems can cloud our judgment. By listening without rushing to offer advice, I provide a space for them to feel understood and respected. If I feel their needs go beyond my skills, I don’t hesitate to connect them with trained psychologists who can offer specialized support. My goal is to be a compassionate listener first and a guide only when it’s truly needed. This is how I maintain resilience.
