(edited)Always keep a tentative plan for most scenarios that could arise have a great team that you have built up that are reliable and dependable but also always have a back up plan if that team has other emergencies that are being handled such as tried and true contractors that you work with. Be willing to also go to location and help and have the knowledge and skills in yourself to contribute. I never have asked a member of my team to do something I couldn’t or wouldn’t do myself from leasing to maintenance. Know emergencies will happen no matter what stay calm & collected follow a well set plan & complete the task at hand. Admit if something is too big & you must go to out side help do it do not allow ego to throw you into a bigger mess.
