People should not be making copies and transmitting data around the world anymore, that's last decade's way of working - brought about by a lack of high-speed networks and remote collaboration tooling. Today the data should be in a fortress, well-defended, backed-up, and extensively monitored. People should be escorted in, under guard, and have all their activities logged and monitored (all virtually of course). There's no need for the data to "go" anywhere.
