You're caught in the middle of disputes between VR developers and QA testers. How can you find common ground?
Balancing the needs of VR developers and QA testers can be challenging, but it's crucial for a smooth workflow and successful project outcomes. Here's how you can foster collaboration:

If you don't have a large team, keeping each member informed can be done through daily calls to help catch future problems ahead of time When the whole team understands what is going on with each piece of work, it increases their influence and the overall outcome accordingly If QA needs a process for communicating new prototypes to them, this can also be discussed to make their lives easier and the development team understand what is required of them

It is important to do 2 things: 1. Inform both sides of the level of quality the client expects, along with "nice to haves" vs "need to haves" in terms of functionality. 2. After QA provides their feedback for the VR developers, the Product Manager must prioritize these changes in terms of what is possible for desired timelines, then create a backlog for features/changes that are not of the highest priority for the upcoming sprints. This way the QA work is recognized as valuable, and the VR developers do not become overworked.

Promote Open Dialogue: Hold structured meetings to discuss issues without blame. Encourage team members to explain their challenges and goals. Define Shared Goals: Emphasize the ultimate aim: delivering a high-quality VR product. Align priorities by focusing on the user experience and minimizing errors. Clarify Roles and Responsibilities: Define clear boundaries for development and testing tasks. Ensure both teams understand how their work complements each other. Integrate QA Early in Development: Involve QA testers during the design phase to identify potential issues upfront. Implement iterative testing to streamline the workflow and reduce conflicts.

As someone who is also a project manager, clear communication is crucial to resolving conflicts between developers and QA testers. What I would do in this case is to bring both teams together to openly discuss their challenges and needs. When developers and testers understand each other’s perspectives, they can work more effectively towards a common goal delivering the best VR experience. Prioritizing regular, open communication ensures that everyone stays aligned and focused.
