I always make my short term and long term clear goal. I also asses my self give my self targets for improvements. I also do Research and development on things which are directly and indirectly related to my work.

Observing the achievements of others inspires me to push forward. 4. Every milestone reached strengthens my confidence and determination. 5. Encouragement from mentors and peers provides valuable support. 6. Challenges are opportunities to grow, and I welcome them as part of the journey. 7. Knowing my efforts today will shape a successful future keeps me committed.

Once per week pull out your goals and ask yourself how you have advanced toward them. Note the improvements and BE SPECIFIC. Evaluate your past improvements as well. Keeping the goals visible and tracking succcess over time will keep you motivated. If it doesn't motivate you, you're probably not in a job that will take you where you want to go.

Being someone who has always been against the idea of stagnation, I consistently set goals—no matter how small they may seem. I believe in making steady progress, as even the smallest goal can lead to meaningful achievement. It is important to me that my goals are attainable, and I make sure they align with the larger objectives I am working towards. By ensuring that my smaller goals contribute to the bigger picture, I can stay focused and motivated, continually moving forward.

You can start with getting clearer about what you want your life to be about. Your career should serve that vs. your life serving your career. It also helps you avoid being reactive and only taking opportunities that show up for you. From there, start to consider what kind of impact you'd like to make in the coming year. Who do you want to help, what do you want to create or what would you like to change? Focusing on impact vs. title first, enables a broader discussion for yourself and your manager. Finally, put together a development plan that includes the new responsibility you'd like to be qualifies for after going through the development, what training will be needed and who can help you hone your skill in the area. Learn things that you are intested in. Even when they aren't related to your career, or your career objectives. Because we can apply what we learn in many different ways. Maybe by learning how to paint, you can get nurture your brain to become more creative, which can potentially help you think of different types of designs for powerpoints. Focus on the things you enjoy, make learning a life habit, rather than something necessary to advance your career.
