To the best of my knowledge, the first step toward the fabrication by AM is to prepare DfAM (design for AM) strategy. To do so, after constructing the CAD file of the desired part, you need to decide how the manufacturing process must be conducted. The following factors might be of great importance: 1- Accuracy of the output 2- Support reduction and removal plan 3- Trying to reduce the fabrication time 4- Decide which devices are suitable for fabricating the part 5- Is it possible to build the part as whole or you need to break it down into several sections (interlock is a good choice here) 6- Is it possible to reduce the raw material required for the part fabrication? Con base a la experiencia que #NEXTIA360 nos ha dejado, es importante analizar cada una de las capacidades de los miembros del equipo, para con base a ello notar que ventajas tenemos pero también que áreas de oportunidad existen.
