I am a proponent of remote working and believe that if team members are scattered in different locations this is not a problem, there are a couple of tips to make online communication better: 1. Start a Slack and correspond there, put reactions, call, record Loom and so on, the more you share something with the team the better 2. Form a common hobby, like collecting cool references or playing games with the team in the evenings, this will allow them to bond stronger and understand each other 3. Invite experts to pump up the team, hold training sessions, etc. where team members can participate, this will allow them to pump up and become better as experts

Afterward, I’d ensure minutes of the meeting are documented and shared so everyone stays informed.

For me, the best thing that works as a leader is that I first have to show them direction and choose who is going to do what works (mostly based on their strengths and skills); sometimes, it is daunting to take hard steps to make collaboration work, but anyhow.
