The methods that I have used over the years centres on my 3 C's; Climate, Clarity & Curiosity. Climate is all about setting the right conditions, create a psychologically safe climate so you & your team encourage inclusion safety, learner safety, contributor safety & challenger safety. This needs to be set by the leader, so they need to demonstrate all four. It's healthy to disagree, it's unhealthy to be disagreeable. Clarity is kindness. Set clear expectations & ensure you inspect those deliverable for quality & timeliness. The person with the largest shadow will be the leader, so they need to say what they mean and do what they say. Be curious and promote curiosity. We learn more by asking more questions & making less statements.
