When your team is stretched thin, keep motivation high by prioritizing tasks, setting realistic goals, and celebrating small wins. Ensure the work loads are split fairly and give some clarity on timelines. Take care of people mentally and get team members to talk about their concerns. But if notice is needed to be given, do recognize each individual’s efforts in meetings, and provide means of support if needed. As we transitioned into a busy period, working on a weekly 'gratitude round' helped my team feel valued whilst simultaneously lowering stress. Showing appreciation and having transparent communication help the team become resilient.

I really believe that motivation comes from within, if a individual really want to close a deal, you don't have to keep the person motivated.. instead you have to keep the things on track, you have to align the things when the member is in trouble/confused/need guidance. Keep your cool, in any situation of life.

Besides setting clear goals, celebrating milestones and encouraging collaboration. I would try to promote continuous learning and heavily promote the sourcing of tools that can streamline the most tedious research processes to save time. Establishing clear timelines, understanding team limitations and leaving enough buffer time to revise the information and not overwhelm them with unsurmountable goals.

Let them know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. In other words, manage incoming projects to ensure that your team is in tip-top condition. Have a established system of giving time off, for say overtime or weekend work, rotate teams and review your Human Resources to ensure that you are optimally set up to handle the maximum amount of work but also keeping the fresh!
