This approach guides your team while preserving autonomy, boosting both efficiency and morale.

I would call a round table, sit down and discuss the tasks openly with the team. Then we would prioritize by importance (financial or safety) giving everyone a chance to speak. I then would have them execute their tasks the team agreed upon. This way I would just have to follow up and not micro manage my team.

It all begins with planning and ends with execution, lack of clarity is lack of planning which leads to excess tasks or slower execution resulting in overwhelming situations. Following are a few practical tips: 1. Review the plan first and the underlying tasks 2. Help the team to prioritise and make them understand urgent vs important 3. Review the deadlines and progress daily and not just on the D day 4. Understand the bottlenecks and act upon the resolution 5. Be approachable to the team and encourage them to voice the issues they face 6. Encourage proactiveness 7. Engage with team during breaks 8. Show empathy
