Clearly identifying the problem and available solutions will help keep everyone on the same page while addressing disagreements. This also highlights the importance of documentation and logging work, as it helps avoid disagreements due to misunderstandings, which happen a lot when under pressure.

Assign roles – Divide tasks based on strengths to avoid further delays. 4. Keep communication clear – Use short, direct updates to maintain alignment. By staying goal-oriented and fostering clear communication, you can resolve disagreements efficiently and keep the team moving forward under pressure. It can be difficult but it can be done.

When faced with differing opinions and time constraints, the first step is to clarify the project’s core objective to ensure everyone is aligned on the end goal. Next, I would encourage quick brainstorming sessions where all team members can contribute ideas without judgment, focusing on generating a wide range of solutions. Afterward, we’d identify the common elements between ideas to find points of convergence, and prioritize solutions based on feasibility and impact. Given the time pressure, we would then choose the most viable approach and move forward with rapid prototyping or testing. This allows to iterate quickly, gather feedback, and refine the solution in real time.

First I evaluate how aligned each opinion is with the final objective of the project, in order to select those ideas that best adapt to this final objective and finally merge them in order to reach a win-win consensus.

creativity can't be crowd-sourced. Within teams there are members who tend to give valuable inputs, brainstorming all inputs, shortlisting the valuable ones through pros and cons and finally putting leadership inclination towards the valuable inputs will do the work under tight deadlines
