In a prevalent case of the Design exploration phase, from CAS's perspective, we are that metal sheet between the Designer's hammer and the Engineer's anvil. to have a better alignment between the two, clear communication is vital for the project priorities, meeting around a physical model, often helps to blend all parties POV's, Designer, Modeller, and Engineer. collaborates to come up with the best-compromised results within the time and budget borders. I believe it's the responsibility of the entire team, even though the PM plays a big role, to be usually the glue, to hold these pieces together, and decrease grey areas for outstanding performance, overall the aim is the Design! in a lifespan under Engineering parents.

Everyone's collaboration in this case is very important, but we, as coordinators, have to show and try to make people understand the real need for this priority. But we also have to take into consideration the views of others who may have a slightly different point of view and that can sometimes be taken into consideration. Common sense is the best way to go about this.

This is something I have seen many companies struggle with. In most cases the biggest issue was communication. In my opinion the best is a production meetings, and the most important thing in those meetings is to have an open mind. Not many people are open minded, what I mean with that is they think only their idea is the correct one and that is where the biggest problem comes in. When you can get a full team with open minds you are sitting on a gold mine.
