Technology can be a powerful tool to help you reach your fitness goals, but it can also have some drawbacks if it's not properly integrated into a purposeful fitness program/routine such as, pushing too hard through training zones, stress and strain or developing a dependency on it. The best ways to utilize technology in fitness programming is by slowly introducing it and learning how to incorporate the technology. Understanding its pros/cons and limitations when integrated with fitness programs and adaptations. Education and practice with the technology are the best ways to use it optimally in health and fitness.

Peter Drucker said, ‘You cannot manage what you cannot measure.’ This applies to everything, including training and personal growth. I’ve been tracking my workout times and average rest periods, and without technology, it would be tedious to do consistently. I mostly use my watch, but I’ve also tried the WHOOP tracking band for deeper insights. Technology makes tracking progress easier. It helps you push limits and get better results. It is like using a stopwatch to measure TUT (time under tension). It is not harder, just clearer. For teams hesitant about technology, starting with simple tools can show the value while keeping it easy to use. A good starting point could be wearing. Trial WHOOP band to get the feeling of it.
