Lay down a clear Aim and list objectives. Make all sit together and explain each of them clearly. Convey that they are non-negotiable and rest everything is open for discussion. Talk of positive and converging points first to build consensus. Build the tempo gradually and Deconflict slowly with patience as we do when we want to untangle the knots in threads or cables etc. Convince all that the answer is within only and not outside of the conflict. However, the junior staff members started questioning the senior staff's methods, believing their new knowledge made them more qualified. I would ask everyone to review their goals as to how they are aligned to the team goals. Once they review, call for a meeting and create a space for open dialogue. Everyone can pitch their priorities and goals and how it aligns with the greater cause. Seek a mandate on which one's are acceptable and if not acceptable , then why it is not acceptable should be informed to all for clarity. Finally , assign the tasks ensuring they do not overlap and communicate with clarity the overall goals. Communication is the key in resolving any conflict in teams.
