We all get into creative ruts if we’ve been in the game long enough. If your team is always resorting to safe ideas, it’s time to introduce GenAI to the picture. Over the last two years, I have embraced LLMs like ChatGPT and image generators like Midjourney to boost my creativity and efficiency. I suggest having the team experiment with this new technology and see firsthand how it expands their creative thinking. You could start with brainstorming sessions where you bounce ideas between yourselves and ChatGPT. If new ideas blossom, embrace them and take it to the next level by introducing image generation. These images could be used as a starting point for storyboarding or fleshing out final designs. It’s time to step outside of the box!

As humans, the fear of failure sometimes comes to play BUT how then do we turn all failures into positivity. The I can do spirit and motivation. If Galali Galileo was able to cross the seas and discover so many place in the world, you also can do I no matter how many times you try it. No one was born with special abilities but it takes perseverance to learn, overcome and establish what has never been done. M.J. became the famous Pop star by starting from no where to somewhere. PRACTICE!!!. After all no one is perfect. Ask for support from people who have the expertise to help build yourself and well prepared. NO TASK IS DIFFICULT.

Fostering a culture of innovation in a risk-averse team begins with redefining failure as a learning opportunity. I encourage open discussions where team members can share their ideas and concerns, emphasizing that every concept has potential value. This shift in mindset helps to alleviate fear and promotes a more daring approach to problem-solving. Additionally, I prioritize recognition of achievements, no matter how small. Celebrating these victories not only boosts morale but also reinforces the idea that each step forward is meaningful. Providing access to resources like workshops and collaborative tools further equips the team to explore innovative solutions, ultimately driving growth and creativity.
