Communication is important and listening is key. Putting ourselves in the shoes of our teams who may be anxious about the change,, an asking open ended questions, listening to understand their anxious thoughts before responding thoughtfully is critical. Sharing that you have concerns will show how human, transparent and approachable during these difficult times is a building block to trust. Helping our teams to focus on what they can control instead of what they can't may help them get closer to accepting the organizational change.

1. Announce and Set objective of a need for the need of more frequent communication and specify the value of have a designated forum to do so 2. Get a consensus from the team of the best forum for communication. 3. Set expectations and boundaries for communication exchange’s on the chosen forum, so that the team doesn’t feel as though their personal time will be impeded upon as a result of this uptick. 4. Monitor the forum to ensure ask, task, problems and solutions are captured and addressed as so the communication forum serves its full purpose and value
