We have team-lunch together twice a week - here we mainly do NOT talk about the job, but "refresh" ourselves with experiences outside the office or current social issues. Even better: walk & talk for an hour in the fresh air... But I admit that I unfortunately often lack the discipline here too.

In 12th grade, I learn one of the Taylor strategy that is fatigue study which means how long team members works & how often they take breaks. I believe taking a small intervals while working on anything make you to work effectively and it's important for everyone

I focus on creating a structured plan, breaking the project into manageable steps with clearly defined responsibilities. For me, the key to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines is striking the right balance between focus and creative freedom.

Creativity doesn’t have to mean more time. Be open to creative approaches to the most mundane project tasks and you may have greater success by a team sharing novel views, passion for the work, having fun and using both sides of their brain. For example, add elements of “reality” to end to end systems testing, adding color and details from personal experience to your test scenarios. Your realistic cases will end up being be more effective than the business as usual step checks.

In today’s competitive world this schedule crunches are very common. I do take following strategies dealing with such tighter deadlines 1. Break the tasks in to smaller and shorter lengths and take a break before you start next task 2. Reward the team achievements for each task. Keep that healthy competition amongst team for early achievements 3. Share the milestone achievements and it’s benefits keeping transparency in to the team for what’s in it for them

In my role, a lack of creativity often means a lack of inspiration. Getting out of the office (even for half a day) and looking for new products, other successful retailers, or paying our peer London museums/galleries a short visit, can have a huge impact on work ethos and productivity. Closing the laptop might sound counter-productive, especially when it comes to the never-ending emails, however it really resets the system and allows you to approach your deadlines with new perspective.

Ironically, you need to get the team "ignore the deadline". The reason is: for some people they can't ideate freely if they know they are under certain deadline. . Just tell and reassure your team that: there is no such thing called good or bad idea. We just love ideas. Share with us 1 more idea please. . Then another idea, then another.
